Kanban and Scrum board Gantt plugin for Jira Server. FREE jGantt

A few days ago we had talked about PPM add-ons for Jira:

In this new example, we will try to install in our Jira a FREE plugin Open-Source to create new Gantt diagrams in an easy way from Kanban or SCRUM Agile boards.

Once installed the plugin in our Jira, no more configuration is needed! Just plug&play

Configure in the project screens two Date custom fields

Go now to your Kanban or SCRUM Agile boards and configure (in the board settings section) the Layout of the ticket/cards. Just add a field in the first position to do the first “Group by”, examples: IssueType, Assignee, etc. In the second and third fields add the new Date fields.

Now we can go again to the view mode of the Kanban: Remember to put dates to the customfields in each tickets!

Now click in the jGannt plugin button! That’s all!!

With the SCRUM board the result is the same, example:
