Beautiful Markdown now in eazyBI 6.1.1!

September has arrived and we have a new version of eazyBI too. This version (6.1.1) is magnificent, since it includes the most required feature on the planet, this is adding Markdown to eazyBI. Yes finally! It is my moment!

Let’s see what improvements it has:

Report Specific Measures

Now you can define calculated measures only for an specific report (the measure not will be shared in the rest of reports of the account). Interesting…

Just expand the dimension and expand the User defined section and click on Define new report specific calculated measure:

After save the formula, will be shown under the section Report specific

Template Accounts

We can now share reports, calculated formulas and dashboards between Accounts, using the new feature “Template Accounts“. First must be activated in the settings section

You can now edit the Account details and check the option to set the Account as Template

Now, in the rest of Accounts to be completed with the shared reports and dashboards and calculated formulas, can be edited in the Source details in order to select the Account Template.

Important: Read carefully the warning when you select the Template account option

Once imported again the data, you will see the results:

Custom Hierarchies

This is a super big feature! We can now create new hierarchies in other dimensions by properties

Example in Project (by Project lead property):

I love this new feature! We can now show markdown in cells and in the report/dashboard descriptions. I will use in probably all my reports for sure! 😉
