It’s very easy and the wizard for the integration is very very good!
First install the Jira Bot Integration+ in Slack. Use this link
After this, install the NetUp Jira integration plus add-on in Jira as usual (task to be done by your Jira Administrator)
Open the Jira integration configuration:
- Usually in the link https://jira.example.com/plugins/servlet/jiraplus/admin
In the integration select the projects that the users must not see (as Blocked projects), also check the box of “Require Jira Authorization” for security reasons.
Let’s get a try:
Get info from a ticket example:
Write in the “Jira Integration Plus” channel the ID of a ticket! That’s all!
Comment a ticket example:
You can choose an issue action to perform over the ticket! Example, put a comment…
If we open the Jira ticket to see the comment, it is!
Creating an issue in Jira from Slack
The instruction is “create issue PROJECT”
Very easy!!! Very powerful integration!!.. also you can transition the issue from Slack, that’s crazy!! 🙂
