What is New Status Colors PRO ?

With this JIRA Server add-on, your JIRA users will live in a full-color world! … more beautiful than the usual and bored “BLUE“, “YELLOW“, “GREEN” in the STATUSES of the issues. The colorisation is done in the Issue Search View screen, in the Issue Screen and in the JIRA Dashboard. With this plugin your JIRA will looks like a pretty amazing software!. The list of colors that this plugin allows are the entire HTML common color name values.

JIRA Cloud INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT NOTE: “New Status Colors PRO for JIRA Cloud” now includes also the features of “New Status Colors” plugin

First install the JIRA Cloud plugin. Once installed, in your JIRA, click on the “profile” icon and you will see a “New Status Colors PRO” option. Just click on it to install in Google Chrome (only Chrome Browsers are allowed for now).

We have added a new option “NewColors!” in the System JIRA Toolbar, because in the New JIRA User Experience (UX) the usual Profile button disappear. New button in old JIRA UX:

Once installed in Google Chrome, you will see Enabled the extension:

Just configure it! Put the “(color name)” in the Status Description

Very easy to install, just install as always in your Jira Server, once installed, you only need to put “(red)”, “(blue)”, …or some color of the list in the Description of the STATUS (Issues -> Statuses -> Edit)

Example:

1. Configure it! Click in the “cog icon” and select “Issues”, then in the section “Issue Attributes” click on “Statuses”

2. Edit the STATUS and put the color name between parenthesis in the Description of the STATUS
