In the previous post we have talked about how to integrate Freshdesk with Jira Server:
Now we will focus in another new app for Freshdesk called “Kanban board“.
With this app, we will ready to start using a Kanban board to visualize our tickets, and to move between columns to change the status.
So, let’s start with the integration, just use your Freshdesk domain ( like mraddon.freshdesk.com) and use your API Key (that will be in your Profile section inside Freshdesk). See here more info
Once configured, we are ready to show the Kanban board. You must click en the left bar section in the “Kanban board” button. You will see something like the picture below.
The App can be configured in the order and type of columns. We can split the columns by assignee, by statuses, by priority, or others…
You can also filter the cards.
The system is Drag’n’drop to change the status of the cards/tickets, and offers a visual preview of the ticket fields in a right panel.
We miss some features like a background image, possibility to configure a WIP limit in columns, do combinations/merge columns, and other things…. but it’s just the version 1 of the App… Congratulations to the creators of the plugin! Keep it UP!
